Ryder goes on a mission to apprehend a bad guy and instead is head first into a rescue mission to save Rachel. She was taken after her witnessing a murder and was going to testify to what she has seen. I loved that she was so strong and was still filled with a need to fight being so scared. She was smart and thought her way through to surviving. Now she had to trust that Ryder could save her when she was in such danger. I loved the chemistry between them from the very first moment. I loved that he took her home to his family to help protect her and that he never gave up on being able to do that. What a roller coaster ride their story was and I loved every bit of it.
