One of Many is one of those books that will both creep you out and make you keep reading all at the same time. It's hard to read the abuse and degradation that happens to Audrey at the hands of a madman, but her relationship with Kiev is even harder to resist. What begins as a way for him to get revenge against his crazy as all get out father changes the minute he meets Audrey. Then it turns into him wanting to protect her as they both fall for each other. Now don't get me wrong there is a whole lot of crazy going on in that house. His father and a few others are completely certifiable and cruelly brutal. What is growing between Kiev and Audrey is like a light in all that darkness.
