My Thoughts
I fell head over heart for Lexie in Mia and Zane's story Out of the Ashes and couldn't wait to read her story. I fell even harder getting to know her and watching her fall in love with Killian. Anne gave us a peek at him too in that same book and I so wanted to know more about him. Lexie is sweet and smart and so talented. I adored her heart as she just loved Killian as he had never experienced before her. And what a delicious boy he was for her giving her sweet to overflow. I really loved watching them love on each other. I also loved the relationship that she has with her mom. Lexie and Mia reminded me so much of the Gilmore Girls with the affection and banter they shared together. Then there are Lexie's boys. Her band. I loved this little family they created and I can't wait to get to know them more. I wanted to shake Killian hard towards the end of this part of their story and I am dying to see what happens next.

People made love seem complicated. Intricate. Novels tried to capture its intensity, music tried to rein in its soul.
I read every novel I could. I lived and breathed every song that I could listen to. The sounds filled up my unquiet mind.

About the Author
Anne Malcom has been an avid reader since before she can
remember, her mother responsible for her book addiction. It started with
magical journeys into the world of Hogwarts and Middle Earth; then as she grew
up her reading tastes grew with her. Her obsession with books and romance
novels in particular gave Anne the opportunity to find another passion,
writing. Finding writing about alpha males and happily ever afters more fun
than reading about them, Anne is not about to stop any time soon.
Raised in small town New Zealand, Anne had a truly special
childhood, growing up in one of the most beautiful countries in the world. She
has backpacked across Europe, ridden camels in the Sahara, eaten her way
through Italy, and had all sorts of crazy adventures. For now, she's back at
home in New Zealand and quite happy. But who knows when the travel bug will
bite her again?
