My Thoughts
I couldn't wait to read this second part to Lexie's story. Oh yeah and Killian's too. My heart beat for Lexie in both. There was just something about her that touched my heart. I fell hard for her reading Mia and Bull's story in Out of the Ashes and couldn't wait to see what was going on in her life since she became a rock star. I loved the relationship she has with the guys in her band. I love the relationship she has with her mom and even more so the one she has with Bull. Her father by choice. Then there's Killian who shattered her heart when he pushed her away so she would follow her dreams of music. Yep I totally wanted to kick him a time or two in the first part of their story. Now he's back in her life after she was attacked by a stalker. He decides to fight for her heart and I couldn't help cheering him on to do just that. I loved that Lexie has such a tender heart, but has become so strong while being apart from him. I so wanted them together and I loved every bit of their story.
