One of the things that I really love about Bink's books is that she writes kick ass chicks. Kat is one of those for sure. She is smart and sassy and I loved her hard. She is a single mom whose baby daddy is out of the picture. She has the opportunity to learn more about her father who dies years ago and is surprised by what more she learns. I loved that she didn't take any sass off anyone and I can't wait to see what happens next.
