I have really enjoyed this series so far and couldn't wait to read this book. I adored Cassie who was super sweet, but I had a hard time connecting with Derek. He was bitter and bent on revenge wanting to use Cassie to make that happen. I didn't want that for her. I know he came around, but but that time for me there was already a disconnect. Now don't get me wrong...this was a good story. I wanted these two to get together because that would be Cassie's happily ever after.
