Lexi is one of my one-click authors and her Masters & Mercenaries series is definitely a favorite. Lexi writes these incredible stories that just draw you in with suspense and sizzle. I really do love the worlds that she creates in her books. When I heard that she was writing a next gen series, I was super excited. Even more so when I heard that it was going to be Ian and Charlotte's daughter Tasha.
Tasha hooks up with Dare only to find out that he is the target of an operation. Usually she does all her work behind the curtain, but now she doesn't have that option. She is one that operates more so out of emotion and now she has to go full tilt mind focus. Not so easy when she is falling for her target. Dare has no idea what he is in for with Tasha. There is total scorch between them.
There is just so much history in the foundation of the OG series that I would recommend that you start at the beginning to get all that you can out of Lexi's world building and story creation. The dialogue and banter is top notch as well as hilarious. I also loved that this team is made up of the kids of all the people I have fallen for in the series. That makes me look forward to all that is to come.
